Title: Marketing Coordinator

Overview:
Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented department supporting the VP of Advancement & Admissions for The College of Saint Mary Magdalen. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal and writing skills, and have experience working in sales and/or development.
The College of Saint Mary Magdalen is a Catholic liberal arts college located in Warner, New Hampshire. Founded in 1973, the College offers a classical curriculum taught in Socratic seminar classes together with a four-year sequence of catechesis and introductory theology courses.
Responsibilities:
This person will work closely with the VP of Advancement & Admissions and the Admissions team to support both the advancement & admissions departments of the College of Saint Mary Magdalen. He/she will be responsible for:

Creating ads for both print and electronic media
-
Creating admissions materials and materials for development and fundraising purposes
-
Creating a quarterly print newsletter and a weekly electronic admissions newsletter.

Building relationships with reporters and pitching stories for publication in local and national media
-
Overseeing all aspects of social media and expand web presence for the College
-
Providing input on design of new materials and working to produce mailings on a timely basis
-
Overseeing all aspects of the website, updating pictures, stories, new media, etc.

Overseeing all advertising deadlines and work with vendors to deliver copy on a regular schedule
-
Managing special events including dinners, speakers, etc.
-
Collaborate with the VP of Advancement & Admissions on a regular basis to continue to improve systems, relationships, etc.

Managing blast emails, annual appeal letters, and other ongoing marketing
-
Write press releases, marketing copy, etc. on a regular basis
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree
-
1 – 3 years of progressively responsible professional business experience
-
Superior writing and editing skills
-
Demonstrated experience in project management
-
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft office products, especially PowerPoint
-
Knowledge of design software i.e. Photoshop, Adobe, Flash preferred
-
Demonstrated experience with calendar management
-
Excellent time management and organizational skills for project management
-
Excellent multi-tasking skills and Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Ability to coordinate multiple projects that may have competing deadlines and priorities
-
Ability to work independently and confidentially, and be able to interact with donors, trustees, patients and staff in a professional manner

Must be willing to occasionally work evenings, weekends when necessary

Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Faith and Catholic business community preferred

Experience working in an academic environment or in a development or marketing capacity preferred

Ability to build internal and external relationships

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal and writing skills, and have experience working in a college admissions department. He/she should be motivated to succeed and comfortable with working in a quota driven sales environment.
The College of Saint Mary Magdalen is a residential Catholic liberal arts college located in Warner, New Hampshire. Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for being an integral part of the admissions function of the College of Saint Mary Magdalen. He/she will be responsible for:

Coordinating on-site campus visits and interviews for prospective students and families

Working directly with prospective students throughout the admissions process
-
Recruiting new students and maintaining a pipeline of other prospective students
-
Creating systems & procedures for following up with and marketing to prospective students
-
Managing events related to recruiting and long-term development of prospective students
-
Building relationships with school administrators, youth leaders, clergy, etc. to help foster long-term success in recruiting efforts
-
Traveling to conferences, high-schools, etc., to build the Magdalen brand and identify new prospective students
-
Overseeing student projection, drop rate, and retention
-
Working closely with financial aid professionals
Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree required
-
Minimum one - three years of progressively responsible professional business experience
-
Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, quota driven environment

Excellent time management and organizational skills for project management, coordinating meetings, travel schedule and specific arrangements
-
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Ability to coordinate multiple projects that may have competing deadlines and priorities

Clear and effective writing skills

Experience in college admissions

Must be willing to occasionally work evenings and weekends when necessary
