Mission Statement

Magdalen College is a Catholic liberal arts college located in Warner, New Hampshire. Founded in 1973, the College offers a classical curriculum taught in Socratic seminar classes. The mission of the College is to give an integrated Catholic liberal arts education: to teach and form its students intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually. The mission is accomplished through the rigorous study of works by great thinkers, close personal interaction between teachers and students, and a vibrant community life. The Program of Studies prepares young people to live life well and assume an active and competent role in the modern world.
