Apply


Students may apply for admission to Magdalen College as early as spring of their junior year of high school (eleventh grade). Requirements to complete the application process are listed below.



Application Procedures


Each candidate for enrollment in the Program of Studies must submit to the Admissions Office the following materials:

  1. A completed application form, (online or by mail).
  2. A thirty-five dollar ($35) non-refundable application fee, (waived if application is completed online).
  3. A transcript from high school and any postsecondary institution attended.
  4. SAT or ACT scores (Use SAT code number 3562 or ACT code number 2511 when requesting that the scores be sent to the College.)
  5. Two letters of recommendation.
  6. A Letter of Application stating the reasons the applicant desires to be enrolled at Magdalen College.
  7. An overnight campus visit (during the academic year) and a personal interview with an Admissions Counselor are required.

An applicant who completes these steps is eligible for acceptance.


The College uses a rolling admissions process. The Admissions Council reviews applications within several weeks after all application materials have been received.


Notification of the Admissions Council's decision to accept or not accept an applicant is sent to the prospective student by the Director of Admissions. An accepted applicant who chooses to enroll at Magdalen College must confirm his or her decision in writing and by submitting a non-refundable room deposit.
