Health Care Services
The College does not operate a health clinic. Students are responsible for their own health care. The College will provide the names and numbers of local doctors and dentists, and will assist students in making appointments and making arrangements for transportation, if necessary. First Aid kits are available in each residence and in the Saint Paul’s Multi-Purpose Building. The College will notify the parents of a student in the case of an actual emergency or serious health problem.
The individual STUDENT’S responsibilities include the following:
- To submit names of prescriptions and health issues to the Dean of Students upon arrival in the Fall Semester, and to keep the Dean of Students informed of prescriptions throughout the year (this information remains strictly confidential).
- To report to the Residence Life Director and/or the Dean of Students in case of sickness or injury while on campus.
- To make his/her own doctor’s appointments. The appointments must be scheduled during free times. If this is not possible, consult the Dean of Students.
- To find transportation to and from the doctor’s office or clinic.
- To fill his/her own prescriptions.
- To notify his/her parents.
