College choir gives concert at Eucharistic Conference
Posted on 11/7/2009
Sponsored by Vita Nova, the New Hampshire Eucharistic Conference, “One Source, One Summit” was held on November 7, 2009 at Saint Marie Church in Manchester.
The conference is modeled after the Eucharistic Congresses that took place in Montreal, Canada in 2007, and Washington, D.C. last month.
The Washington, D.C. Congress spoke of the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of enduring love, where Jesus Christ our Savior gives Himself totally as Bridegroom, uniting to himself His Spouse, the Church, in the perfect Sacrifice of love that brings to fulfillment the communion between God and His people.
Speakers included: Bishop Robert Hennessey (Auxiliary Bishop, Boston), Bob and Penny Lord (EWTN, Journeys of Faith Ministries), and Saint Marie’s own, Dr. Hugo Poza, and Sean and Marie Poza.
Holy Mass was celebrated by Bishop John McCormack of the Manchester Diocese.
The Magdalen College choir performed an after-dinner concert for all attendees.
